How do I shop on-line?
To place an order with us you don't need to register as a customer but if you do, then every time you shop you just need to enter your user name & password and all your details will be remembered, so you don't have to enter them all again.
You can register as part of the check out process. You will see 2 boxes - one asking if you'd like to receive our newsletter and one asking us to register you. Just tick the relevant box and we'll send you your unique password via email.
Don't worry about the details you provide as we never share it with anyone else and do not sell information onto third parties. We also don't ever collect any debit or credit cards details - those stages are carried out by Protx or PayPal.
Your customer id and password should be kept safe.
Why should I register?
When you place an order with Simplyfair, we need to know some basic information in order for us to process your order, such as, your name, address, e-mail address, & the delivery address. The above information allows us to process and dispatch your orders and to notify you of the status of your order. We also ask you to provide us with your telephone number. This will enable us to contact you if there is a problem with your order, however this is optional. If you are registered with us you can just log into the site and all of your information will be displayed so it saves you having to enter it over and over again.
From time to time we may run special promotions, offers and competitions. To qualify for these promotions we request your name, address and e-mail address. This is for the purpose of administration of these promotions. We also offer you the option to register for our newsletter.
Participation in this scheme is voluntary and to register for this newsletter we only need your email address. When you become a Customer we will automatically enrol you in the newsletter scheme, unless you opt out during checkout. In any event there is an option to unsubscribe offered in each email you are sent.
Please note: When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an Confirmation of Dispatch email. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Shipping And Handling Postage and packaging costs are charged according to weight and are FREE for all orders over £50 (excl VAT) to UK Mainland. You normally have to spend over £100 to qualify for FREE shipping. (EXCEPT Highlands & Islands of Scotland, Scilly Isles, Isle of Wight & Isle of Man).
Your order will be processed on the same day it's placed, unless it's after 5pm or on a weekend or Bank Holiday and then it will be the next working day.
Our parcels are shipped using either the Royal Mail or Simplyfair's Courier Service for the UK Mainland and the Royal Mail or ParcelForce for the rest of the UK & Channel Isles.Shipping is FREE for all orders over £50 (excl VAT) delivered to the UK Mainland otherwise it is based on the weight of the parcel.
Shipping charges are subject to VAT where applicable (so if you order £20 worth of zero rated goods there won't be any VAT added to your shipping charge, however if you order £20 worth of standard rated goods then VAT of 17.5% will be added to your shipping charge. A pro-rata VAT amount will be added for mixed supplies).
Delivery is available Monday to Friday, but is not available on weekends or Bank Holidays. Orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays will be treated as having been received on the next working day. Please bear this in mind when requesting 'Next Working Day Delivery' as anything ordered after 12 noon on a Friday for example won't be dispatched until Monday and therefore won't arrive until Tuesday.
When you enter a preferred delivery date during check out or as part of your order for a hamper, this date is not guaranteed and we will aim to deliver your parcel within 2 working days (either side) of the delivery date specified. For special occasions, such as birthdays, anniversaries and so on we advise you to aim for the parcel to be delivered at least one day before and that you make a special note of this during check out.
If you need your parcel urgently then you can select our 'Next Working Day' express service. Just remember that orders need to be in by 12.00 noon and we cannot guarantee any 'out of stocks'. The charge for this service is £10. This service is only available Monday to Friday, it is not available on weekends or Bank Holidays. Orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays will be treated as having been received on the next working day. We are unable to offer next day delivery to Northern Ireland, the Channel Isles, the Isle of Man, the Scilly Isles or the Highlands & Islands of Scotland.
Please note: if you want to send to multiple addresses they have to be processed as separate orders as our website cannot process multiple addresses. Free shipping applies to all orders over £50. If you order 10 hampers and they go to 10 different addresses this will be classed as 10 separate orders and shipping charges will apply if the order value is less than £50.

Unfortunately we do not offer shipping to outside of the UK.
In addition, if a parcel cannot be delivered due to there being no-one available to take delivery a card will be left requesting the recipient to contact them to arrange a convenient time for delivery. The courier will make a second attempt to deliver the parcel and if this fails the parcel will be returned to us. At this point we will refund you for the goods (less the delivery & return cost £10) or you can request for the parcel to be re-delivered. This will be charged at the original rate plus any return charges incurred.

Delivery Schedule
We aim to dispatch your order within 24 hours therefore goods dispatched to the UK Mainland will normally be delivered within 2-4 working days of acceptance of order. However, we do not guarantee a delivery date unless Next Day or Names Day service is chosen. Therefore we will not refund shipping if an item takes a while to be delivered. Please allow up to 31 days for items to be delivered.

Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will email you asking if you would like to wait until the item is in stock, or an alternative product or a refund for the item. We do not offer multiple shipping for orders. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. |

Credit Card Security
How do I pay for my goods?
When you are happy to complete your purchase you will proceed through the checkout and onto our secure on-line payments service - we use Protx and Paypal. We can only accept payment by debit or credit cards on the website, however we can set up accounts with your company if you would like to place regular orders and be invoiced for them. Just send us an email or call us to set up this arrangement.
Protx is Simplyfair's preferred online payment method. Protx provide a secure, encrypted gateway between the vendor and the bank. It enables people to purchase products online with the knowledge that their credit card details will be secure.
All of the Protx solutions use high levels of encryption. Protx has been audited and approved by all of the major UK acquiring banks which require Protx to adhere to all APACS standards.
Protx have also been audited and accredited under the Visa Account Information Security (AIS) Protx can process Visa, MasterCard, Delta, Solo and Switch.
No credit card details will be taken or held by Simplyfair.
When ordering from outside of the U.K., and you don't have a card that is registered in the U.K. you may encounter problems, if so, please select send credit card details separately at payment section and fax your card details to us on 0191 266 0489 and we will process your payment for you.
Alternatively, you can use Paypal which is also one of the most secure and highly respected payment services available today. Your card information never comes to our site or onto our computers, it resides on a Paypal server that is heavily guarded both physically and electronically. Your card information is automatically encrypted in transit from your computer to theirs using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available). Paypal servers sit behind an electronic firewall and are not directly connected to the Internet, so your private information is completely hidden from unauthorised sources.
You are asked to input your information onto the secure Paypal pages and they will authorise the transaction - in the same way you buy items with your cards in normal shops, except you don't sign or enter your PIN. Once the transaction is complete Paypal will email a confirmation and receipt to you and you will also receive a confirmation from us confirming the details of your order.

Guarantee
Please can you inspect the Goods immediately upon receipt and notify us in writing to:

or by email at helpdesk@simplyfair.co.uk within 7 working days of delivery if the Goods are damaged or do not comply with any of the Contract.
If you fail to do so you shall be deemed to have accepted the Goods.
Where a claim of defect or damage is made the Goods shall be returned by you to us. You will be entitled to a full refund (including delivery costs) plus any return postal charges if the Goods are in fact defective. We ask that you use the original packaging to return the goods.
If you are a consumer you have the right, in addition to your other rights, to cancel the Contract and receive a refund by informing us writing to the address specified or by email at helpdesk@simplyfair.co.uk within 7 working days of receipt of the Goods.
Goods must be returned by the Buyer and should be returned using the original packaging. The Buyer will receive a refund of all monies paid for the Goods within 30 days of cancellation (excluding delivery charges) and will be responsible for return postal charges. However, if the Buyer fails to return the Goods following cancellation, the Seller shall be entitled to deduct the cost of recovering the Goods from the Buyer. In such circumstances the Buyer must (until the Seller has recovered the goods) take care of the goods at their expense and make them immediately available for collection.
Goods to be returned must clearly show the order number obtained from the Seller on the package.
Where returned Goods are found to be damaged due to the Buyer's fault the Buyer will be liable for the cost of remedying such damage.
Please note substitutions (of equal or higher value) will be made in the hampers where a product is not available. |

Returns Policy
At Simplyfair.co.uk we want you to be delighted every time you shop with us. Occasionally though, we know you may want to return items. Read more about our Returns Policy at: http://www.simplyfair.co.uk and under Terms & Conditions.
Further, under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any of these items within a period of 7 working days, beginning with the day after the day on which the item is delivered. This applies to all of our products. However, we regret that we cannot accept cancellations of contracts for items that have been opened. Otherwise, we can accept returns of complete products, which are unused and in an "as new" condition.
To cancel this contract, please pack the relevant item securely and send it to us with this delivery note so that we receive it within 7 working days after the day of the date that the item was delivered to you or, in the case of large items delivered by our specialist couriers, contact us at helpdesk@simplyfair.co.uk or on 0191 270 5116 within 7 working days after the date that the item was delivered to you to discuss the return.
For your protection, where you are returning an item to us, we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service. Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty. If we do not receive the item back from you, we may arrange for collection of the item from your residence at your cost. You should be aware that, once we begin the delivery process, you will not be able to cancel any contract you have with us for services carried out by us (e.g. gift wrapping).
Please also note that you will be responsible for the costs of collection in the event that our specialist courier service collect a large item from you to return to us.
As soon as we receive the returned goods, we will refund the relevant part of the purchase price for that item.
