This season we are introducing a new fair trade instant coffee from Traidcraft to our range in the form of this organically certified premium coffee from a new producer group in the Araku Valley, India.

This is a smooth and well-rounded premium instant coffee, made from 100% Fairtrade & Organic Indian Arabica beans. It is full-flavoured coffee with real depth and, like their popular granulated instant, is grown, roasted and packed in India.

More Than Just Another Fair Trade Coffee
This coffee uses high quality organic Arabica beans grown by a new Fairtrade producer group; the Small & Marginal Tribal Farmers Mutually Aided Co-operative Society (MACS).

Over 5,000 farmers benefit from being part of this group, simply because they now have an income they can rely on and a crop they can sell. In the future they intend to use the Fairtrade premium generated by their coffee sales to provide clean water, healthcare and schools.

But the farmers are not the only people who benefit from Traidcraft's new Organic Freeze Dried Coffee. Unlike other instants, this is not shipped in bulk and packed in the UK. Instead, the beans are roasted and packed in India, giving work and an income to roasters, printers and packers as well.
