The bergamot fruit is a green citrus fruit, the size of a small orange which grows on the South Coast of Italy, and creates the fragrant taste and aroma of Earl Grey tea. This Earl Grey is a luxuriously, yet uplifting tea, light in colour with a clean taste. The tea plants used for Cafedirect Earl Grey are grown on smallholder farms. They are cultivated in the pure soils of the hills of Sri Lanka, without the use of artificial fertilisers.
