The bergamot fruit is a green citrus fruit, the size of a small orange which grows on the South Coast of Italy, and creates the fragrant taste and aroma of Earl Grey tea. This organic Earl Grey is a luxuriously, yet uplifting tea, light in colour with a clean taste. The tea plants used for Teadirect Organic Earl Grey are organically grown on smallholder farms. They are cultivated in the pure soils of the hills of Sri Lanka, without the use of artificial fertilisers.

Organic farming methods ensure the fine quality of the soil is preserved and prevent farmers being exposed to herbicides.
